Someone at work asked me about the tallest buildings with IBM in the name – we’re attending our training this week at the IBM Building here in Chicago !

A. Tallest self-supporting building or tourist tower from ground level to tip:

228. IBM Tower, Montreal, Canada – 226.5m
303. IBM Building, Chicago, USA – 211.8m
549. IBM Building, New York, USA – 183.8m

B.The “official” height:

153. IBM Tower, Montreal, Canada – 226.5m
225. IBM Building, Chicago, USA – 211.8m
450. IBM Building, New York, USA – 183.8m

C.Roof height:

243. IBM Building, Chicago, USA – 211.8m
353. IBM Tower, Montreal, Canada – 195.1m
463. IBM Building, New York, USA – 183.8m

D.Roof height of mostly occupiable buildings:

208. IBM Building, Chicago, USA – 211.8m
309. IBM Tower, Montreal, Canada – 195.1m
414. IBM Building, New York, USA – 183.8m

Just for reference, IBM Tower, Singapore is 165m tall, and the IBM Building Southgate, Melbourne, Australia is 131m tall.
