If you watch the news tonight, you might see a story about yet another Manly ferry crash (second this year). Apparently the ferry lost power and ran into the wharf at Circular Quay. Not much damage to the ferry, but the wharf was badly damaged. Nobody seriously hurt fortunately.
LJ’s parents were actually on that ferry ! They are staying with us this week and had gone into town to have a look around today and decided to catch a ferry to Manly. They were on the top deck of the ferry and didn’t really see what happened – it wasn’t a serious crash.
So at least they have a story to tell everyone when they get back home !
