Spent the day tidying the house (and making room in the shed for the car!) and packing for the trip.
We seem to have accumulated a little more gear than when we did our test pack a couple of weeks back. I had to re-distribute some gear to lighter bags to make sure they were all below the 23kg limit. We should still be well within our overall limits for four bags.
We can actually take 6 bags between the three of us if required, or 7 bags on the way home with Nicol. We might have to buy some cheap bags to come home with if we end up buying a heap of stuff while in Colombia. I don’t think we’ll need 7 bags though!
