Sydney Opera House as seen from the walkway across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I was living in Sydney at this point, but Leanne had been finishing up her job in Adelaide. She came over for a holiday in December.

Don’t feed the wildlife – Renmark – July 1998

This is why people should be discouraged from feeding local wildlife … Pelicans are quite big and can get quite aggressive (and scare young children!). Renmark has a history of troublesome Pelicans. This one had a posse of Silver Gulls and Moorhens to back him up.

Noisy Neighbours – Renmark – July 1998

During a holiday in South Australia’s Riverland district, we stayed at a caravan park in Renmark. At night we were constantly disturbed by possums thumping across the metal roof of our cabin. This one demanded food or else he would bring his mates over for a rave party!
