I stayed at Adare House in Victor Harbour for my year 12 camp in 1989. Actually I didn’t stay in the house itself – I was in one of the dormitories alongside (not shown in the photo).

The house, built between 1891-1893 is still operating as a conference center today – http://www.adarecentre.com.au/

    My grandparents used to own Adre Grandfather started bidding at auction on a wim in the 1930,s then to his surprise he won the bid. It was a family home along with several other properties at the same time. Sold it soon afterwards.
