I was bored yesterday afternoon, and in response to a post on the Somersoft Forum, I decided to write some poetry.
There have been some topics, which, for various reasons, we have deemed “taboo” on the forum – not allowed to be discussed. Mostly these topics are actually about certain people or companies who have threatened legal action if nasty things are said (whimps), but there are other topics which are just taboo because discussions about them always end up with arguments.
In this particular case, I jokingly said that I should make the question “Does anyone know of any good shares forums” taboo – since we had about 10 people ask the same question at different times over the last month. Another forum member responded with the question “is there anywhere we can see a list of “Taboo” subjects?”, to which I replied with:
A “taboo” tattoo; in blue ink drew;
In situ flew; from two to few.
But through and through; the list ‘came new;
Since stew and brew; did warp the view.
It grew with skew; and hue see through;
Who knew what true; too few the clue;
So do what’s due; the crew and you;
Don’t spew “oh ewww”; but cue anew!
It does actually make sense (kind of), but doesn’t really have any significance. It’s just poetry after all :D
