Interesting town.
Gets boring quite quickly once you’ve seen all the themed hotels and watched the Bellagio fountain for the 10th time. Unless you’re into gambling or spending money on overpriced shows.
Hoover Dam was very impressive, and Red Rock Canyon was picturesque. Pity we didn’t have time to get to the Grand Canyon – but it looks like we’ll be going back to Vegas this time next year too, so I’ll have to be a bit more organised and work in time to do that trip as well.
11 days in Vegas was not exactly my thing, but I guess it was kind of interesting.
I’m a bit disappointed in the entertainment work put on for us, Tom Jones was playing at the MGM Grand where we were staying, and it would have been nice for them to ask him to pop in a sing a number for us during the opening or closing festivities for our conference. Bah humbug.
