WiFi works!

Currently sitting at Santiago airport waiting for our flight to Buenos Aires.

Turned on my laptop and was instantly connected to a free WiFi hotspot at a cafe near our gate – which is fantastic since it means my laptop is not broken after all and the problems I experienced at the hostel were related to their router!

Hopefully WiFi is working at our hostel in BA, will give me a chance to catch up on all my emails and get some work done.

Ooh – I just tested my VoIP handset and software, there was a slight delay (less than a second), but the audio was quite clear. A lot of background noise here at the airport – which really affected the quality. Will be interesting to see how well it works at the hostel – hopefully they will have a fast enough connection.
