Headed out to Taronga Zoo for the day today – my first time with the new lens, I was keen to give it a good workout.
Was a great day – nice weather – and I managed to get some great shots, especially at the Free Flight Bird Show.

Great shots – I especially like the cockatoo photo – the tail spread out like that is spectacular. Did you use burst mode for that? (And is that what it’s called?)
Himilayan Tahr are wonderful creatures – we saw some in the wild in Nepal
