The act or a system of using syllables, especially sol-fa syllables, to represent the tones of the scale.

The song “Do-Re-Mi” from The Sound of Music is an example of solmisation !

    I’m in so much trouble with Nella coz Gaby and Sabrina sing Homer’s version as the second verse of the original.

    Dough! The stuff that buys me bear
    Ray! The guy who sells me beer
    Me! The guy who drinks the beer

    So! I think I’ll have a beer

    which brings us back to Doh!
