SecureFX – SFTP client

For files transfers and remote file management, I use SecureFX v3.0.4 from Van Dyke. It’s an FTP and SFTP client (SFTP is a secure FTP protocol that protects your credentials when connecting to the server – plan FTP send the credentials unencrypted, which is a security hazard).

The SecureFX client application lets you choose between SFTP using an encrypted SSH2 connection for secure transfers, or standard FTP for non secure transfers. It has a simple Explorer-like interface, so it’s easy to learn and use while offering powerful automation capabilities for unattended, secure file transfers.
