A Thousand Words

I figured I would use this section to define words that I’ve looked up, thought about the usage of, or just simply found amusing, annoying or astounding - something to “improve one’s word power” (to use a Readers Digestism).

If a picture paints a thousand words, and I can’t paint, well then I guess I’m just going to have to come up with a thousand words then aren’t I ?
